3-Easy Steps to Making Wine

Step 1

Choose your wine making kit, and Dave will help you to get set up. Start your wine* by sprinkling the yeast into the juice to start the fermentation.

Step 2

We will do the rest of the winemaking process until we let you know the process is finished.

Step 3

Come back and bottle your wine when it is ready – about 4 to 6 weeks later. You’ll have about 28-30 bottles of wine which can be personalized with custom labels and decorative shrink caps.

Step 4

Enjoy a glass of wine from your own wine rack, not the wine store.

If you are looking for a more hands-on experience you can also make your own wine at home. You don’t need a lot of space and our kits include easy to follow instructions. Our retailers can help you select the equipment you need and help get your started.

Wine Storage Tips

Here are some wine storage tips to ensure top-quality wine:

Do:

  • Store your wine upright for the first 3 to 5 days.
  • After that, store your wine on its side in order to keep the cork moist.
  • Store your wine in a cool, dark place.
  • Your wine should be stored where the temperature is CONSISTENT… Bright light, movement, and temperature fluctuations can negatively affect the quality of your wine.

Do Not:

  • Do not constantly turn your wine. Red wines will sometimes dust (leave residue on the inside of the bottle). This is normal. Simply decant your wine.
  • Do not store your wine directly on a cement floor. Put a thick piece of wood under your wine storage boxes.
  • Do not store your wine on heated floors.

With our new premium craft winemaking kits and your spirit of adventure, you'll love your wine. Guaranteed.
